Carmen Fulco is a Lecturer in Middle East Studies at King’s College London, affiliated with the Department of War Studies within the School of Security Studies. Her research focuses on Middle East politics, Islamic Studies, and pedagogical innovation in higher education. She holds a PhD in Middle East Politics from the University of Otago (2022), alongside degrees from Sapienza University of Rome. Prior to her PhD, she conducted fieldwork in Egypt and Tunisia during and after the 2011 Uprisings, shaping her research on authoritarianism, protest movements, and political organizations.
