Carmen Claver

Carmen Claver is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, Spain. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Zaragoza (1977) and has held academic positions including Senior Lecturer at the University of Barcelona (1978–1991) and Visiting Professorships at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and ENSIACET-INP/CNRS in France. She leads the Organometallics and Homogeneous Catalysis research group and has been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Narcis Monturiol Medal and election to the Real Academia de Ciencias.

• Design of chiral ligands for asymmetric catalysis
