Carmela Belardo is an Associate Professor in Pharmacology at Link Campus University in Rome. She holds a Master's Degree in Pharmacy (2014) and a Doctor Europaeus in Translational Medicine (2017) from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. With over 10 years of preclinical research experience, her work focuses on neuroscience topics such as chronic pain management, cognitive-emotional disorders following traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress disorder-related disorders. She emphasizes understanding and mitigating the health impacts of social isolation.
Active in academic collaborations and conferences, she is a member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF).
