Dr. Carmel McEniery is a Senior Research Associate in the Division of Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapeutics and Fellow and College Lecturer in Physiology at the University of Cambridge's Department of Medicine. She is an active member of the Cambridge Cardiovascular Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC), where she's classified among Group Leaders.
Her research program centers on cardiovascular physiology with specific expertise in:
- Pre-eclampsia (hypertensive disorder of pregnancy)
- General hypertension mechanisms and management
- Advanced haemodynamic monitoring techniques
