Carme Torras Genís is a Research Professor at the Spanish Scientific Research Council (CSIC) within the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Informatics (IRI, CSIC-UPC), where she leads the RobIRI research group. She holds M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics (Universitat de Barcelona) and Computer Science (University of Massachusetts) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (UPC). Her work focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, neurocomputing, and assistive robotics, particularly in cloth manipulation and ethical implications of AI.

- European projects RAMON LLULL, ALLIES, MOMENTUM, and others.
Key Achievements:
