Carly Stewart

Dr. Carly Stewart is an Associate Professor and Senior Academic in Sociology of Sport at Bournemouth University, with a focus on narrative research, gender, and embodied experiences in sport, health, and education. She serves as Deputy Dean for Education and Student Experience in the Faculty of Science and Technology and leads the Athena SWAN gender equality initiative. Her interdisciplinary work bridges sociology, health psychology, and coaching pedagogy.
