Carly Moores

Dr Carly Moores serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Adelaide Dental School within the University of Adelaide's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, working under Professor Paula Moynihan (Director of Food and Health). As a Registered Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia, she contributes to public health nutrition research and policy development.

Her research focuses on healthy eating for non-communicable disease prevention, particularly dental caries, with expertise spanning nutritional epidemiology, food environments, and dietary behavior change. She investigates how food advertising influences choices and examines emerging diet trends through both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Her work emphasizes practical implementation science approaches to translate research findings into community health programs.
