Carlos Juiz García

Carlos Juiz García is a University Professor at the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology within the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), Spain. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from UIB and a postgraduate degree in Office Automation Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His research focuses on performance engineering, Green IT, and IT governance, with extensive involvement in international collaborations and publications.

He has participated in over 50 regional, national, and international research projects, particularly with universities in Paraguay, Colombia, Albania, Tunisia, Morocco, and Ecuador. His contributions include co-authoring more than 250 international articles and two university textbooks.

Administrative roles include Deputy Director of the Higher Polytechnic School, Vice-Rector for Information Technology at UIB, and current Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Laboratory (LEIS). He has supervised nine doctoral theses and numerous academic projects.
