معرفی
Carlos Correa Angulo is an Honorary Research Fellow in Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester's School of Social Sciences. He contributed to the three-year 'Cultures of Anti-Racism in Latin America' (CARLA) project (2020–2023), funded by a £1 million grant from the UK's Arts and Humanities Research Council. His work focuses on anti-racism through artistic practices in Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia, collaborating with Indigenous and Afro-descendant artists.
The project engaged with diverse art forms including Indigenous literatures, visual arts, hip-hop music, and performance art to challenge racial inequality. Correa Angulo co-curated an online exhibition and contributed to datasets documenting collaborative research with artists like Teatro en Sepia (Argentina) and Sankofa Dance Collective (Colombia).
The project's outputs include a public-facing website, YouTube channel, and exhibitions showcasing decolonial artistic responses to racism. His research emphasizes cross-border collaborations between UK and Latin American researchers in social sciences and arts.
