Carlos Barros

Carlos Barros is a Professor and Assistant Researcher at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Catholic University of Portugal, affiliated with the Center for Communication and Culture Studies (CECC). He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Lisbon and a postdoctoral fellowship in Integral Human Development.

His research focuses on well-being, resilience, digital adaptation, and intergenerational solidarity in transnational families. He explores social norms, migration impacts, and work-life balance across cultural contexts.
