Carlos Alfonso Palacio Cebria

Carlos Alfonso Palacio Cebria is an Associate Professor of Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Girona. He combines academia with a professional career as a practicing lawyer at the Illustrious Bar Association of Girona and as a Mediator in the Labor Court of Catalonia. Previously, he held leadership roles as Secretary General of the Girona Transporters Association (ASETRANS) and the Confederation of Transporters of Catalonia (CETCAT).

His research focuses on procedural law, with specific emphasis on civil procedure, international and European legal frameworks, and labor mediation. He collaborates with the Research Group on Current Issues in Procedural Law at the University of Girona and has participated in national and international congresses. He co-authored an annotated edition of the Civil Procedure Law of 2000 and serves as a consultant for the Open University of Catalonia.
