Carlo Battini is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil, Chemical, and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the University of Genoa. He serves as Director of the Multidisciplinary Center for Teacher Training and holds multiple institutional roles, including Member of the Board of Directors for the same center, Member of the Joint Teacher-Student Commission of the Polytechnic School, and Member of the Department Board of DICCA.
His research focuses on digital surveying, 3D point cloud analysis, and heritage restoration, combining photogrammetry, computational modeling, and structural analysis for architectural conservation.
