Carlo Alvaro is a Professor of Philosophy at the City University of New York (CUNY), specializing in Philosophy of Religion, Animal Ethics, and Virtue Ethics. He is an Italian-American scholar known for his defense of ethical veganism rooted in virtue ethics and his advocacy for deism via the Kalam Cosmological Argument. Alvaro also lectures at the Fashion Institute of Technology, St. John's University, and St. Joseph's University.
