Carla Hall Alphonso, Ph.D., is a Professor of Sociology at Presbyterian College. She teaches courses such as Introductory Sociology, Criminology, Medical Sociology, and Sociology of Aging. Her research focuses on family sociology, aging, gender dynamics, and social policy, with publications in the Journal of Comparative Family Studies and contributions to the Encyclopedia of Family Studies. She actively reviews for journals like Sex Roles and Social Inclusion.
