Carla Chism

Carla Chism is a Lecturer at the University of Mississippi, affiliated with the School of Applied Sciences and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She serves as a Speech Language Pathologist and undergraduate instructor for CSD 301, Speech Sound Disorders.

Certifications & Expertise: Certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy, Speak Out Parkinson’s Voice Therapy, Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, and Beckman Oral Motor techniques. Her clinical experience spans acute inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, and school settings across pediatric to geriatric populations.
