معرفی
Carl Philipp Riehm is a Research Assistant at the Chair of Circuit Design, Technical University of Munich (TUM), working under Prof. Ralf Brederlow since July 2020. His role involves research in circuit design and hardware security, with a focus on analog and mixed-signal systems.
His educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Berlin (2017)
- Degree in Sound Engineering, University of the Arts Berlin (2018)
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Technical University of Munich (2020)
Riehm's research centers on hardware security, particularly Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) for tamper protection in embedded systems. He is developing enhanced mechanical stress sensors for copy protection. His work spans analog circuit design, sensor systems, and embedded security, aiming to create resilient security primitives against environmental variations.
His 2023 publication on resistor-based PUFs robust to PVT variations exemplifies his focus on practical hardware security solutions for resource-constrained devices. This research contributes to the field by addressing reliability challenges in real-world deployments.
At TUM, Riehm participates in teaching laboratory courses and seminars. He also brings industry experience from his student employment at Texas Instruments.
