Dr. Cara Miller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Gallaudet University, specializing in clinical psychology with a focus on human-animal interaction, LGBTQ+ health disparities, and Deaf community advocacy. She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and M.A./Ph.D. from Gallaudet University. Her research emphasizes inclusive training for Deaf psychology trainees, mental health among Deaf LGBTQ+ populations, and the therapeutic role of animal companionship.
