Margaux Delotte-Bennett is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Gallaudet University, specializing in clinical social work and field education. She joined Gallaudet in 2014 as the Director of Field Education for BSW and MSW programs, advocating for accessibility in social work training for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students. Her work emphasizes marginalized communities including LGBTQ+, refugees, and DHH populations. She currently teaches courses like SWK-741 (Social Work Practice I) and SWK-783 (Advanced Field Practicum with DHH Populations).
Education: BA from American University (1997), MSW from Gallaudet University (2007). She maintains a private practice and serves as Chair of Gallaudet's Faculty Welfare Committee and a leader in the Faculty of Color Coalition.
Research interests include accessible social work education, trauma-informed practices, and intersectionality in clinical settings.
