Cara Libman is a Practitioner in Residence at the Environmental Law and Policy Clinic at Suffolk University Law School, where she collaborates with Professor Robert Cox to design curricula focused on environmental regulation, legislation, and case work at federal, state, and local levels. Her career bridges academia and policy advocacy.

Her research interests center on Environmental Law, Policy Advocacy, and Legislative Processes, informed by her experience in federal government relations and legislative leadership roles. Prior to her current position, she practiced as a student attorney in the Human Rights and Indigenous Peoples Clinic and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review.
Her 2019 article on preventing terrorist groups from profiting from antiquities sales highlights her focus on Cultural Heritage Preservation in conflict zones. She also brings expertise in International Law and Environmental Regulation to her teaching and mentorship.
