Cammi Fulvi, Ed.D., is the Director of Graduate Programs in Education at Earlham College, leading the M.A.T. and M.Ed. programs. Her work emphasizes Quaker values such as equity, respect for conscience, and community, while focusing on preparing educators to be socially active and morally conscious leaders. She holds an Ed.D. from Indiana University and dual degrees from Earlham College (M.A.T. and B.A.).
Her scholarly interests include structural equity in education, funds of knowledge pedagogy, culturally sustaining practices, trauma-informed teaching, and queer-inclusive curriculum design. She advocates for curriculum justice through the application of queer theory and historically responsive literacy strategies.
Her recent research explores the use of case studies in educator training and the experiences of LGBTQ+ preservice teachers. Earlier work examined the impact of popular music on classroom environments.
