Dr Camilla Parker is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent's School of Social Sciences, specializing in mental health law, human rights, and legal frameworks for healthcare. She holds an LLM in Human Rights (University of Leicester, 1993) and a PhD in Law (Cardiff University, 2017). Her career includes roles as Legal and Parliamentary Officer at Mind, a non-executive director for a Mental Health NHS Trust, and special adviser to the Joint Committee on Human Rights. She currently leads consultancy work on EU funding for community-based mental health initiatives and is authoring a book on adolescent mental health law.
