Angela Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Swansea University, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science and the School of Health and Social Care. She holds a First-Class LLB (Hons) in Law, an MA in Ethics and Social Philosophy, and an LLM in Law, alongside being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her academic roles include teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focusing on legal and ethical topics such as consent, confidentiality, and mental capacity law. She also leads on Research Integrity, Ethics, and Governance within the Faculty and serves as an Academic Integrity Officer.
