Cameron Bowman is a DPhil student and Tutor in the Department of Politics & International Relations at the University of Oxford. His academic work focuses on the intellectual history of slavery in the British Empire, with particular emphasis on philosophical, theological, and political justifications of human bondage in the 17th–18th centuries.
