Cameron Barr

Cameron Barr is a Research Fellow at the School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences, University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. His research focuses on palaeolimnology, using lake sediments to study past environmental changes.

• Bachelor of Environmental Studies (First Class Honours) in Physical Geography
• PhD in climatic and hydrological reconstruction

His work spans high-resolution studies of drought patterns over 1500 years in southeastern Australia and long-term environmental shifts on North Stradbroke Island linked to climate drivers, human arrival, and megafauna extinction. He has held two post-doctoral positions focused on these topics.
