Caleb S. Fuller is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Winklevoss School of Business at Grove City College, where he teaches courses including Seminar in Organizational Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Econometrics, Law and Economics, Comparative Economic Systems, Public Policy, and Public Finance. He is also a Research Fellow at The Independent Institute and a Faculty Affiliate at the Law and Economics Center, George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School.
Fuller received his B.A. in Economics from Grove City College and his Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University. His academic journey reflects his deep commitment to the Austrian School of economics, which emphasizes methodological individualism and subjectivism in economic analysis.
His research centers on the economics of institutions—the formal and informal rules that enable social cooperation. Fuller integrates property rights theory, public choice, and market process traditions to understand how institutions emerge, function, and adapt. His work spans multiple domains including entrepreneurship, regulatory governance, digital privacy, and law and economics. He argues that markets generate spontaneous order through voluntary exchange, challenging conventional views of market failure.
Fuller's scholarly output reveals a consistent focus on how institutional arrangements shape human behavior and economic outcomes. His publications demonstrate particular interest in rule-breaking entrepreneurial action, the economics of privacy, and the institutional foundations of economic development. His work often applies Austrian economics to contemporary policy debates, revealing market-based solutions to problems typically addressed through government intervention.
