Research Focus
Dr. Demsky’s program of research centers on occupational health psychology, investigating how negative workplace experiences—such as incivility and aggression—spill over to affect employee sleep, recovery, and family life. She examines psychological detachment, recovery experiences, work-life balance interventions, and the buffering effects of family-supportive supervisor behaviors.
Her work also explores practical organizational interventions that foster resilience and well-being, translating empirical findings into actionable human-resource practices.
