Dr. Caddie Gao is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Centred Computing at Monash University. As a decision scientist at the intersection of business and information systems, her research focuses on designing and evaluating decision support technologies to address organizational challenges through behavioral economics and analytics.

Her research explores behavioral economics and decision theory to develop decision support systems and risk management frameworks, particularly in healthcare and digital transformation contexts. Recent work applies the MINDSPACE framework to improve clinical alert designs and investigates behavioral interventions for predictable decision outcomes.
Scientific recognition includes the Best Knowledge Management Paper Award (2016). Her publications span peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers, and review studies in behavioral economics, medical informatics, and business analytics.
Teaching roles include Chief Examiner for units on IT governance, business intelligence, and financial information systems at Monash's Faculty of Information Technology.
