Jingzhi Zhang is a Lecturer at the Department of Human Centred Computing, Monash University. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. Prior to Monash, she conducted research and teaching at the University of Texas at Dallas and Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, Social Media, Information Privacy, Cyberdeviance, and cybersecurity. She has been funded by the National Science Foundation of China. Her teaching portfolio includes courses like System Analysis and Design, Business Analytics, and Database Management, all highly praised by students.
Her research explores privacy disclosure behaviors in online environments, psychological ownership effects on privacy risk, and cybersecurity policy compliance. Recent work addresses ESG disclosure in FinTech and health behavior interventions using monetary/social incentives. She has published in journals like the Journal of Association Information Systems and conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems.
