C. Leonard Raybon is an Associate Professor of Music and Choir Director at Tulane University's Newcomb Department of Music. He holds the endowed title of The Virginia Beer Professor of Music. As department chair, he oversees choral programs, directs the Summer Lyric Theatre, and teaches voice. His expertise spans choral conducting, vocal performance, and music education, with a focus on historical and pedagogical innovations.

Research interests include Baroque choral works, vocal pedagogy rooted in classical philosophy, and interdisciplinary arts education. His work has been published in The American Organist and an upcoming article in the International Journal of Arts Education.
