C. Bayón Calderón

C. Bayón Calderón is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biomechanical Engineering, University of Twente, specializing in rehabilitation robotics and human-machine interaction. Affiliated with the Biomechatronics and Rehabilitation Technology group within the Faculty of Engineering Technology and the TechMed Centre.

Education:

• PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Automation Engineering (cum laude), University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain, 2018)

Her work focuses on gait rehabilitation for children with Cerebral Palsy, including the development of the CPWalker robotic platform and the inGAIT lightweight device funded by her VENI grant. Expertise spans robotics, exoskeletons, and balance control.
