Céline DENAT

Céline DENAT is a Lecturer in the CIRLEP research team at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. She specializes in Modern German Philosophy, focusing on figures like Nietzsche, Kant, and Wittgenstein. Her research themes include the interplay between body, language, thought, and their historical and cultural contexts. She contributes to the Department's teaching programs in modern and contemporary philosophy, covering courses on existentialism, philosophical language, and moral philosophy.

Her work emphasizes textual analysis of Nietzsche’s writings, particularly exploring concepts of image, truth, and methodological approaches in philosophy. She has co-edited volumes on philosophical writing and contributed to international journals such as Nietzsche-Studien.

As part of the CIRLEP team, she collaborates with 39 principal researchers, 3 ATERs, and 35 doctoral students. Her publications bridge 19th-century German philosophy with contemporary debates in ethics and epistemology.
