Błażej Maliszewski

Błażej Maliszewski is a Professor of Viola at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he has taught in the viola class since October 2004. He holds a Master's degree from the same academy under Prof. Irena Albrecht and has completed advanced studies with renowned teachers including Prof. Henryk Fuks and Prof. Felix Shwartz. His professional career spans diverse musical roles as a violist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer.

Maliszewski has performed with prestigious ensembles such as the State Chamber Orchestra 'Sinfonia Baltica', the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, and the Castle Opera in Szczecin. Notable performances include Mozart's Symphony Concertante K.364 (with Paweł Kukliński) and the premiere of J.H. Roman's 'Swedish Mass' with 'Opera da camera' in Sweden. He has also engaged in cross-genre collaborations, including the jazz album 'Katharsis' with Art-Ton string quartet and the international musical 'Fire of Dance' (over 400 performances across Europe).

As an artistic entrepreneur, he founded the 'GEMINI' Artistic Agency and manages the 'AMBER' String Quartet. His work balances pedagogy, performance, and arts management, reflecting a commitment to both classical traditions and innovative interdisciplinary projects.
