Burkhard Beckhoff

Dr. Burkhard Beckhoff is a researcher at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Berlin, Germany. He is associated with the Department 7 - Temperature and Synchrotron Radiation and the Working Group 7.24 X-ray and IR Spectrometry. His research focuses on the chemical and physical characterization of nanolayer systems, including the determination of chemical bonds in interfaces of boron and silicon carbonitrides to the substrate, and the study of lithium-sulfur high-energy batteries with reversible matrix-intercalated sulfur cathodes.
