Bryan Richard Kutz is an Instructor and Youth Specialist at the University of Arkansas within the College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences (Department of Animal Sciences). He teaches undergraduate courses in animal science, livestock evaluation, and swine production, while maintaining an active research presence in cattle and swine genetics.

Research Focus: Bryan's research spans three major areas in animal science: 1) Cattle Health Genetics (infectious disease resistance in Angus calves), 2) Livestock Trait Analysis (evaluation of underline scores and their correlations with growth and maternal traits in Beefmaster cattle), and 3) Molecular Animal Production (investigating genetic markers like heat shock proteins in beef cow parasite resistance).
Teaching Expertise: He leads courses including ANSC 1032 Introduction to Animal Science, ANSC 3291/4291 Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Team, and ANSC 4262 Swine Production, emphasizing both theoretical and practical applications in animal agriculture.
