Bryan Heidorn is a Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Academic Affairs at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science. He also directs the Center for Digital Society and Data Studies. Previously, he served as Director of the School of Information (merged from SIRLS and SISTA) from 2009 to 2019 and held roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the National Science Foundation. His research focuses on text mining, data curation, and biodiversity informatics, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to data challenges in science and society.
