Bryan Crissinger

Bryan Crissinger is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics & Statistics at the University of Delaware, affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources. His work focuses on statistics education and pedagogical methods in undergraduate mathematics instruction.

• Education: M.S. in Statistics (2001, Pennsylvania State University), B.A. in Mathematics with Statistics minor (1997, Messiah College)

His research includes experimental studies on distributed practice in homework assignments and its impact on student learning outcomes. He teaches courses such as Introduction to Business Statistics, Statistical Methods, Probability and Statistics, and Data Analysis with R.

His publication The Effect of Distributed Practice in Undergraduate Homework Sets: A Randomized Trial (2015) explores innovative approaches to statistics education.
