Bryan Clair

Bryan Clair is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Saint Louis University (SLU), within the College of Arts and Sciences. He serves as Chair of the department. His academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Math/Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

Clair’s research focuses on Probability, Statistics, and their applications in data science. He co-authored the textbook Probability, Statistics, and Data: A Fresh Approach Using R (2021), emphasizing practical use of R for statistical analysis and simulation. His work integrates modern computational tools with classical statistical methods.
