Bryan Blankfield

Bryan Blankfield is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences at Penn State University. His research and teaching focus on presidential rhetoric, animal studies, civic engagement, and rap music, exploring how individuals craft and utilize unique voices in communication.

• Education: B.A. from Roberts Wesleyan College (2008), M.A. (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) from Penn State University.

Bryan’s scholarly work has been published in Rhetoric & Public Affairs and Rhetoric Society Quarterly. He teaches course CAS 100C through Penn State World Campus, with expertise in rhetoric and interdisciplinary communication studies.
