معرفی
Bruno Gonano is a Researcher at the University of Oslo (UiO), affiliated with the Department of Chemistry and the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology. He holds a Senior Researcher position since 2021 and has led projects like FLUFFY (2023–present) and MAN (2021–2023). His research focuses on inorganic compounds' structure-property relationships, synthesis techniques (e.g., Solid-State, Spark Plasma Sintering), and advanced characterization methods (e.g., X-ray/Neutron Diffraction). He collaborates with institutions globally, including the Institute for Energy Technology (Norway), CRISMAT (France), and the National Institute for Materials Science (Japan).
Education:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science (2017), University of Caen Normandie, France.
- M.Sc. in Materials, Nanosciences, and Energy (2014), University of Caen Normandie.
- Postdoctoral Researcher at UiO (2018–2021), focusing on magneto-structural phase transitions in metallic systems.
Research Interests: Bruno’s work emphasizes oxides, fluorides, and mixed-anion materials, exploring their synthesis, structural characterization, and physical properties (e.g., magnetism, ionic transport). He develops novel materials for energy storage applications, such as sodium-ion battery cathodes. His publications highlight advancements in anion ordering, magnetic properties, and crystal engineering.
Grants & Projects:
- FLUFFY: Developing fluoride-based Na-ion battery cathodes (Research Council of Norway).
- MAN: Investigating mixed-anion compounds (Research Council of Norway).
Labs & Teams: Leads the NAFUMA Lab at UiO and collaborates with international teams in neutron characterization, catalysis, and materials science.
