Bruce Weinberg is the Eric Byron Fix-Monda Endowed Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Ohio State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago (1996) and has been recognized with the Distinguished Scholar, Joan Huber, and Postdoc Mentor of the Year Awards.

His research focuses on:
- The economics of creativity and innovation
- Family and neighborhood determinants of youth outcomes
- Technological change and wage structures

He has advised NIH on biomedical workforce initiatives and served on AAAS’s Committee on Science, Engineering, and Public Policy. His work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, NIH, and other foundations.
