Bruce W. Hardy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication and Social Influence at the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication, Temple University. His research and teaching focus on political communication, science and health communication, social influence, and advanced research methods. He is also a Distinguished Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center.
Research Interests: Hardy explores how political ideology interacts with public understanding of science, the framing of scientific issues (e.g., CRISPR, genetic modification), and the impact of media on opinion formation. His work bridges communication theory with practical challenges in emerging technologies and pandemic-era communication models.
