Quaiser D. Abdullah serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Communication and Social Influence Department at the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication, Temple University. His teaching portfolio spans undergraduate courses including Conflict and Communication Behavior (CSI 1401), Intercultural and Cross Cultural Conflict (CSI 2401), and Social Science Research Methods (CSI 3801), alongside graduate offerings such as Leading Diverse Teams (CMGT 5003).
His research centers on leadership development's impact on identity formation in minority communities, with specialized focus on Conflict Resolution and Communication Management within Muslim private and parochial schools in the United States. He examines intersections of Religion (Islam), Identity Formation, and Identity Management through the lens of organizational development and public-space conflict dynamics, frequently contributing published interviews on these topics to national media outlets.
Dr. Abdullah holds recognition as a Conwell Fellow and secured a Temple University-funded grant to develop social entrepreneurship coursework and coordinate workforce development workshops.
As a certified conflict resolution trainer, professional coach, and mediator, he actively seeks research funding for conflict resolution training initiatives while maintaining a robust public engagement schedule presenting on Islam, identity, and conflict resolution to national audiences. His applied expertise extends to positive discipline education and conflict coaching within educational settings.
