Bruce Evan Barnhart is an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo specializing in American literature. He co-directs both the Literature, Rights, and Imagined Communities research project and the Temporal Experiments: Literary, Aesthetic and Social Modes of Thinking and Living Time group with colleagues Tina Skouen and Marit Grøtta.
