Marit Grøtta

Marit Grøtta is a Professor of General Literature at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Humanities, affiliated with the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages. She holds a prominent role in literary studies, focusing on intersections between literature, visual arts, and media. Her research emphasizes modernist literature, portraiture, temporal experiences, and media aesthetics, often analyzing figures like Proust, Kafka, Woolf, and Baudelaire.
