Brooke Stanley

Brooke Stanley is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. She holds a Ph.D. in finance from Texas A&M University, an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and a B.A. in Drama from Kenyon College.

Research Focus: Her expertise spans corporate governance, managerial compensation, agency problems, and financial institutions. Her work has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics and presented at FDIC workshops.

• Awards: Dean’s Award for Outstanding Teaching by a Doctoral Student

Teaching: She developed a new MBA course in corporate financial analysis and modeling, consistently receiving high teaching evaluations.
