Brooke Foy is an Associate Professor of Art in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts within the College of Arts, Education, and Sciences at the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM). She earned her MFA in Sculpture from the University of Memphis in 2009 and her BFA in Sculpture from ULM in 2006. She teaches courses in Art History, 3-D Design, and Sculpture, and is actively involved in student mentorship as a faculty advisor for the Kappa Pi International Art Fraternity.
Her artistic background is deeply rooted in hands-on creation, influenced by her upbringing in a construction-oriented environment, which she translates into a playful and functional aesthetic in her sculptural work. Her teaching and creative practice emphasize exploration, making, and conceptual development in three-dimensional art forms.
Brooke Foy is actively engaged in the academic and artistic community at ULM, with her office located in Stubbs Hall 239. The sculpture program has been enhanced with a new studio classroom in Stubbs 234 and a woodshop in Stubbs 236, supporting student learning and creative production.
She has not been noted to receive any scientific awards or honors in the provided text.
Brooke advises students through her role with Kappa Pi and contributes to curriculum delivery in foundational and advanced sculpture courses. While no grants or funded research projects are mentioned, her involvement in studio development indicates active support for art education infrastructure.
She is associated with the Art program facilities in Bry Hall and Stubbs Hall, which house classrooms, studios, and exhibition spaces for the Visual and Performing Arts department.
