Prof Bronwen Dalton is a Professor and Head of the Department of Management at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School. She also directs the Master of Not-for-Profit and Social Enterprise Program and founded the charity Ruff Sleepers. Her academic career includes a DPhil from the University of Oxford and leadership roles in institutions like the Centre for Cosmopolitan Civil Societies at UTS. Dalton’s research focuses on the Not-for-Profit sector, North Korean societal transformations, and Korean studies. She has held significant grants, including an ARC Discovery Project on North Korean women’s roles in informal markets. Her work bridges academic research with real-world impact, such as evaluating social policies and mentoring initiatives like the National Diabetes Services Scheme. Dalton’s contributions extend to editorial boards of journals like Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly and international advisory roles.
