Brody Johnson is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Saint Louis University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. and A.M. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His research focuses on applied harmonic analysis, including frames, wavelets, filter banks, and compressive sensing. He transitioned from mechanical engineering to mathematics, studying under Professor Guido Weiss at Washington University, and joined SLU after a postdoctoral position at Georgia Tech.
