Kelly Bickel is a Professor of Mathematics at Bucknell University. Her research focuses on complex analysis and operator theory, particularly the structure and boundary behavior of multivariate functions, singular rational inner functions, Agler decompositions, and shifts on the bidisk and polydisk. She also investigates problems in harmonic analysis related to boundedness of operators between matrix weighted spaces.
- Ph.D. in Mathematics, Washington University in St. Louis
- M.A. in Mathematics, Washington University in St. Louis

Kelly Bickel's research intersects complex analysis, operator theory, and harmonic analysis. Recent work explores Crouzeix’s Conjecture and its connections to compressions of shifts, while also addressing matrix weighted two-weight estimates for localized operators.
Her publications emphasize the geometric and analytic properties of rational inner functions, numerical ranges of compressed shifts, and harmonic analysis in matrix-weighted settings. Articles often involve polynomial and rational function applications suitable for undergraduate research projects.
