Prof. Dr. Britta-Marie Schenk is a Professor of 19th-21st Century History at the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences, University of Lucerne. Her research focuses on the history of social inequality, marginalized groups, and diplomatic practices such as panda diplomacy in Europe and the USA. She has held research positions at the German Historical Institute in Paris and completed her habilitation at Kiel University.
